The 2023 Ranch Red marks our most assured expression yet. With 500 cases produced — our largest release to date — this vintage reflects the deep familiarity we’ve cultivated with our Knights Valley estate and the steady, confident hand that now guides our winemaking.
Anchored by 65% Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2023 leans into structure and presence, while 15% Merlot, 10% Malbec, and 10% Zinfandel round out the blend with suppleness, depth, and a whisper of brambly warmth. Fermented with native yeast and aged for 18 months in French Oak, this wine speaks unmistakably of place — a layered, terroir-driven red that captures Knights Valley in its truest voice.
On the palate, the 2023 is at once polished and approachable: notes of dark cherry and black currant lead, framed by graphite, supple tannins, and a long, savory finish. It is a wine that holds quiet authority — refined, generous, and entirely its own.
