DESCRIPTION
At the ranch we raised a young filly named Daisy Girl. At six months she came to us precocious and curious. As she aged, she came into her own and became more defiant and stood her ground. She has a beautiful color, she’s soft to the touch with a surprise light in her eyes. That’s our 2021 Ranch Red. We call this wine our workhorse. It’s the stable and core of our wine portfolio and delivers a balanced wine that you want in your corner when something’s afoot. She’s solid. It’s a delicious very drinkable wine who knows exactly who she is, doesn’t pretend to be anything but a great red. Simple, clean and decisive, the 2021 Ranch Red is exactly why we came into the wine business!
The 2021 Ranch Red is compromised of 50% RR Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Malbec and 15% Merlot. The wine was gracefully aged for more than 18 months in a combination of new and one used French oak barrels. All perfectly blended to create our beautiful Ranch Red. We are very proud of her and can’t wait to see her develop with grace as she grows up. Enjoy!
